PERBADANAN USAHAWAN NASIONAL BERHAD (PUNB) has successfully concluded its trade mission to the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) @ Dubai 2024, generating significant potential leads and sales for participating Bumiputera entrepreneurs.
PUNB, committed to developing competitive Bumiputera entrepreneurs in Malaysia, facilitated the participation of six promising ‘Rakan Usahawan PUNB’ at MIHAS@Dubai 2024.
These companies, namely Syarikat Jutaan Purnama, Eagle Cliffe (M) Sdn Bhd, BS Fitness Nutrition Sdn Bhd, The Raw International Sdn Bhd, SPL Food Industries Sdn Bhd, and Callabio Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, represented a diverse range of sectors including food and beverage, cosmetics and personal care, and health and wellness.
Throughout the event, PUNB beneficiaries engaged with potential investors, distributors, and partners from across the Middle East and beyond.
Mission Highlights
- Over 349 potential leads generated.
- A total of RM22,147,000 in potential sales and project value secured.
- Interest from 14 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and Canada.
- The signing of eight Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with various companies for Callabio Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, valued at RM17.7 million.
- The identification of over 10 potential companies for new financing applications.

MIHAS@Dubai 2024 provided an invaluable platform for PUNB beneficiaries to showcase their products and services to a global audience. The event facilitated networking opportunities, fostered potential partnerships, and generated substantial commercial interest.
Razlan Bachik states that in addition to the immediate outcomes, PUNB has identified more than 10 potential companies for new financing applications, further expanding its reach and impact within the Bumiputera business community.
Razlan Bachik also noted that PUNB remains dedicated to supporting Bumiputera entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses domestically and internationally.
PUNB will continue to provide guidance and resources, including workshops and training, mentorship programs, and market access support, to help these entrepreneurs capitalize on the leads generated at any events and penetrate new markets.
